RF Product Manager

JOB SUMMARY: Product Manager (PM) will research, document new technologies, and create SMD products using customer Johanson Technology's design and manufacturing know-how to grow the business. Identifying customer needs and formulating sales strategies to achieve annual growth goal of 20%. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. RF antenna and SMD RF component circuit analysis Owns the product line business and writes technical marketing material. Develop new SMD products from concept to production. Drive application and product strategies. Monitor pricing, profit, and gross margin (P&L responsibility) Drives Sales & Operations to meet the goals. Manage and follow-up for all items affecting sales, profits and growth (i.e., Quality, delivery, manufacturing, certifications, etc.). Communicate and engage on application and product knowledge Team with outside and inside sales to maximize results. Train new Sales Personnel and Outside Sales Reps/Agents as needed. Key Account Support & Management. Create mini business plan: -Sales, growth goals and strategy -Determine the Top 10 Prospects -SWOT -Competitive Analysis Develop chipset reference design partnership programs. Customer visits worldwide as needed, including conference calls. Capable of following Company and Department procedures/policies. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES : Circuit Design (i.e., filters) or antenna design experience Strong project management skills and experience. Can do person - gets the job done Committed to customer satisfaction - will work as needed to meet the needs Very detail oriented - analytical capability Highly organized Good verbal and written communication skills Experience in the capacitor and/or LTCC (Low Temperature Cofired Ceramics) industries is a plus. Electrical Component experience in Business Development or Product Management environment a plus Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONFIDENTIALITY As the position involves handling confidential information and is expected to maintain proper security for all documents and follow privacy procedures at all times Work Environment · This job operates in a professional office environment and at home. Forty or more (40+) hours within a workweek. T RAVEL · At least 35% travel Required Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on RF design 2+ years of Business Development Manager experience RF product design (Antennas, filters) PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Electrical Component experience in Business Development or Product Management environment a plus. RF product design (Antennas, filters) Be familiar with operations on how to use/operate Network and Spectrum analyzers Be familiar with 3D Electromagnetic software (I.E. Sonnet, CST, HFSS) Be familiar with high frequency ceramic (or FR4) electromagnetic simulation with RF antennas and filters.
