Daemen University seeks applications for one (1) full-time tenure track teaching position in its Master of Social Work (MSW) Program. The successful candidate will teach research, behavior, and policy-related courses and/or graduate-level elective courses focusing on populations, social issues, or intervention strategies. Courses will be taught in traditional seated, hybrid, or online as part of a 3:3 load. Applicants must have an MSW degree with three or more years of practice and teaching experience at the graduate and/or undergraduate level. Strong preference for applicants who are currently licensed as a professional social worker in New York State (or willing to pursue or renew licensure). A doctoral degree in Social Work or related disciplines is also required . ABD candidates will be considered if they can demonstrate they are on path toward timely degree completion. Applicants must: Demonstrate an ability to work with diverse students and faculty; Be willing to advise and mentor students; Provide evidence of an active and productive research agenda; Involve students in research and other scholarly activities; Contribute to on-going program development, assessment, and accreditation activities; and Engage in committee work within MSW Program, Social Work and Sociology Department, and Daemen College.
