About the Opportunity As Senior Staff Accountant for ELGi, you will: Perform full-cycle month-end close for multiple entities including, but not limited to, preparing all month-end journal entries and reconciliations; preparation of financial reports. Prepare and process monthly sales tax reporting in multiple states Prepare monthly commission payments to be submitted and paid to HR Responsibility for recording and maintaining all fixed asset additions in the company's fixed asset ledger on a monthly basis Provide invoice coding or review coding done by other members of the team Assists in analyzing revenue and expenses, receivable, payables, and accruals Prepare monthly account reconciliations including cash accounts, receivables, payables, and accruals, and any other balance sheet accounts Support performance and financial audits including Financial Audits, Sales Audits, Operational Performance Audits, Regulatory audits and others as necessary Cash Flow forecasting Complete special projects and other responsibilities as assigned, often of a complex and urgent nature About You The Staff Accountant opportunity may be an excellent match for you if you have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3+ years of accounting experience Manufacturing or Distribution experience, preferable in a multinational company is desirable Effective written and oral communication Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus Demonstrated ability to work independently and achieve results Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks Admin will input all relevant job description information.
