Position Overview The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a critical member of the sales organization at Teaching Strategies. The role of the SDR to is prospect and initiate interest in Teaching Strategies offerings to drive revenue pipeline build. The SDR will report into the Director of Sales Development and work closely with Account Executives (AE's) and Business Development Managers (BDM's) within specific regions to schedule demos and create opportunities to meet regional quotas. Specific Roles & Responsibilities: Drive top of pipeline build for New Business opportunities to meet regional sales revenue goals through cold prospecting.  Prospect and uncover new leads through outbound outreach efforts (cold calls, emails, social selling, etc.)  Own discovery process to thoughtfully qualify leads and opportunity potential  Create opportunities for qualified leads Schedule demo/calls with BDM/AE's while providing clear documentation and knowledge transfer to AE's/BDM's  Meet KPI's through data-driven understanding of prospecting and pipeline build Balance general daily prospecting efforts with larger strategic sales initiatives  Work collaboratively with AE's/BDM's and Sales Operations to share insights/trends from the market to influence outreach content Take part in building content and scripts for cadences that are effective and drive toward higher engagement and conversion Leverage on-boarding and continuous training to be an expert about the company, industry, our platform's benefits, and features to effectively articulate the TS value proposition, while gathering information about prospect needs and handling objections  Drive outreach activities to contribute to strategic org-wide revenue initiatives  Qualifications: A track record of top performance or prior success using data and proactive approaches to build new relationships Superior verbal and written communication skills Experience or strong interest in education, edtech, early childhood programming, and private childcare Experience with Salesforce or other CRM (not required but candidates with experience will be heavily considered) Experience with Salesloft or other SEP (not required but candidates with experience will be heavily considered) Curious and determined Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) Familiarity with Teaching Strategies solutions and products Why Teaching Strategies At Teaching Strategies, our solutions and services are only as strong as the teams that create them.
