Since 1963, Oak Ridge has served the community of Roseville, CA as a locally owned and operated business. At just 67 beds, we are the smallest in the area, thus ensuring a personal touch. We provide a comfortable and homey atmosphere for our residents as they undergo therapy and nursing services as they recover and get back to their highest level of functioning. We offer physical, occupational, and speech therapy as well as long-term nursing care. Staff longevity is important - our average Oak Ridge Healthcare Center employee has been with us 10 years or more. That's something we are really proud of and it's an indicator of the quality care we provide. All 67 beds are Medicare and Medicaid certified RNs are on duty and onsite 24 hours/day All rooms have electric high/low beds Physician visits The full in-house rehab unit provides: Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapies Admissions can be processed 24/7 Position Responsibilities includes: Set-up trays with proper dishes, glasses, cups and eating utensils for meals to be served including correct assistive feeding devices as indicated on the tray card Prepare hot and cold foods and beverages for residents' meals as assigned by the Cook or Food and Nutrition Manager, following recipes and posted menus, for regular, modified and therapeutic diets Serve Food for meal delivery Ensures resident satisfaction regarding meals through quality, quantity and presentation. Observes and practices all department safety and sanitation standards. Delivers food tray carts to specified locations at specified times. Prepares snacks and nourishments and delivers according to schedule. Receives and stocks food deliveries utilizing proper labeling, dating, rotation and FIFO concepts.. Completes cleaning assignments in the Food and Nutrition Services areas using proper chemicals, equipment and procedures. Familiar with food service disaster plan.
