Summer Camp Instructor (Part-time) - Summer Camp - Bethesda, MD Area AlphaBEST Education, a leading provider of after-school and summer programs, will be offering summer camps in the Bethesda, MD area. At AlphaBest, our students are filled with curiosity and wonder! As their guide , you'll help lead them through fun learning activities, with plenty of support and training. Locations: Mater Dei School - 9600 Seven Locks Road, Bethesda, MD 20817 The Woods Academy - 6801 Greentree Road, Bethesda MD 20817 Schedule: Camp Dates: Mater Dei - 6/12 - 8/18 (10 weeks) The Woods Academy - 6/19 - 8/18 (9 weeks) Camp Hours: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm (Work hours 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm) Pay & Benefits: $20.00 per hour Fun and friendships come with the paycheck As a Summer Instructor, you'll be trained to do the following: Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder. Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents. Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered. Facilitate the summer curriculum that is provided Have fun! What you will need: Experience leading a group of children in a structured or classroom setting Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, & Medication Administration (if you do not have these, we will provide training for you) Ability to communicate with both children and adults Reliability & Flexibility High School or GED Diploma Interested in working during the school year?
