Craft Culinary Concepts (Glendale, AZ) Background: Craft Culinary Concepts is a food and beverage company, affiliated with the Arizona Cardinals, that brings top-tier service and management to leading stadiums, sports venues, cultural attractions, and music venues across the nation. State Farm Stadium is host to the home games and Training Camp for the Arizona Cardinals. In addition, this property hosts many high-profile events, including the Fiesta Bowl, Super Bowls, Concerts, and many other world-class events. Job Summary: Position Overview: This position is responsible for providing direction to all bar staff before, during and after events. The Bar Supervisor is to oversee all bar operations, the implementation and enforcement of all State and Craft Culinary Concepts alcohol service policies and procedures. Primary Job Duties: The Bar Supervisor is the key individual in ensuring that all alcoholic beverage sales for the club bars are optimized by overseeing and guiding bartenders and bar backs and flawlessly executing all aspects of this position. To be successful in this position the Bar Supervisor is responsible for inventory control including inventory, product transfers to and from all bar locations and lofts, and reconciliation for all bar products. The Bar Supervisor will work through the Liquor Coordinator to effectively manage all bar staff including, but not limited to Bartenders, Bar Backs, and Cocktail Waitresses, and ensure that all bars are properly set up and operational prior to each event. The Liquor Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all bar staff follow the policies for their assigned functions . Qualifications/Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old Must have a valid TEAM or TIP certification card Must have a valid Maricopa County Food Handler Card on file with Craft Culinary Concepts and in your possession for each event worked Must have knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and be familiar with standard drink recipes and bar terminology Must be discrete and keep all information and details of guests confidential Must have a H.S Diploma or equivalent Must complete all pre-employment forms, successfully pass a background check and math assessment involving all US monetary units Must be able to work with a group as well as independently Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Preferred knowledge of two-way radios, cash register systems, soda dispensers and beer taps Preferred previous supervisory experience in high volume restaurant/bar environment or another stadium/arena Other Skills/Abilities Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on a regular basis and be on feet for several hours Must be able to maneuver through facility in a fast paced, often tightly quartered environment. Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to work in extreme temperature fluctuations and around excessive noise The above description is not all-inclusive and may include other related duties as needed.
