Description:
Position: Material Handler Responsibilities: Receive in materials with primary emphasis focus on large enclosures. Unload incoming product from vendors. Package outgoing product into correct containers using correct materials for customer requirement Prepare finished panels for shipment including utilizing fabrication room to build pallets Load outgoing shipments onto the appropriate trucks Kit and deliver enclosures and metal for large panel builds Assist cut department in receiving and stocking wire barrels within department Inspect quality of materials to accept or reject inbound shipments Communicate and coordinate with appropriate buyer for product returns Issue material in the system to create kits for upcoming jobs Deliver product to appropriate personnel Assist team members with part issue resolution Perform cycle counts and maintain accuracy of inventory Remove trash and recycling from the production floor and dispose of properly Other duties as assigned to meet business needs Requirements: Ability to handle heavy equipment and lift or maneuver up to 50 lbs Exhibit a customer service attitude Attention to detail with the ability to problem solve Operates with a sense of teamwork Basic math skills Good computer skills Operate a forklift (either certified or to become certified shortly after hire) Operate JIB Cranes (either certified or to become certified shortly after hire)
