Summary/Objective The EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) Specialist will drive full-time environmental, health, and safety programs to all Jtec facilities. Will drive Safety Campaigns, inspections/investigations and monitor programs to ensure that the sites manufacturing practices and the safety of our employees are a number one priority as well as in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Evaluates risks and develops/coordinates tasks and activities related to the facility's safe operation and continual elevation of safety and environmental programs. Qualifications Education and Experience Preferred, but not required Associate in Science or Bachelor of Science in related field 1-3 years prior EHS or Safety Coordinator experience required. Experience in manufacturing is strongly desired. Experience and working knowledge of Federal/State regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.) Technology Windows PC proficiency Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Knowledge Ability to analyze accident data, new processes, and machinery for potential safety concerns and conduct job hazard and job safety analyses. Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
