We custom design and manufacture interior and exterior decorative fiberglass reinforced polymer (FTP) ornamentation for the restoration, reproduction and new construction industries.AFI is looking to hire Grinders/Sanders Employees to help our business continue to grow. This candidate must be organized, self-motivated, and able to communicate with professionalism.This is a unique position that requires SOME EXPERIENCE USING ELECTRIC OR AIR POWER TOOLS. WE WILL TRAIN ALL OTHER ASPECTS OF THIS JOB. All that is needed to become an AFI employee is the willingness to learn and the desire to put forth your best efforts.This work involves cutting or sanding fiberglass flanges or run-offs that are not part of the finished part. It will also involve sanding or grinding fiberglass thickness so units fit properly.Employee will also participate in a quality inspection and repair unit(s) with the specified colored gelcoat or bondo.Employee will be responsible for carrying units to and from the grinding/sanding area as needed.Clean area after use and general housekeeping plus any other duties that the Supervisor may request.AFI pays competitive wages and offers paid vacation, holidays, bonuses, 50% paid medical insurance, bereavement pay, 401K retirement fund with company match, on-site training and annual employee appreciation events.Come be a part of the AFI team and live a rewarding life.
