Mechanical Systems Company in Memphis, TN is growing and we are looking for mechanical and technically oriented people to join our team. You will have an opportunity to start as a floater and work with every division of our company for three weeks to find out for yourself which trade you enjoy the most or go directly into a trade if you have experience and/or a strong desire for a single trade.If you start as a floater, you will acquire basic mechanical skills & rotate thru the following areas: Sheet metal field Sheet metal shop Construction plumbing Pipefitting Controls HVAC service HVAC installation Plumbing service This position may require work with scaffolding and great heights! If you've worked in construction, electrical, or plumbing, or have recently completed HVAC training this might be the opportunity for you! Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, FSA (Flexible Spending Account), Paid Vacation & Holidays, Paid Sick Time, Supplemental Insurance including Disability, 401K Starting pay is $13 per hour depending on experience Work hours : 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, occasional evenings and weekends as required Required Qualifications : Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Must pass drug and background screens Desire to learn and willingness to put in the time to study trade Must be able to lift 50 lb. and be able to perform the physical aspects of the job (access crawlspaces and attics, use ladders) Must be able to work on scaffolds and great heights Experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC highly desired apprentice, install, HVAC, labor, helper, construction, air conditioning, AC, A/C, heating, furnace, heat pump, entry level, installer, install job, entry level job
