ACTT Team Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) - Wake County - Full Time $1,000 sign on bonus! Join a supportive team who values personal & professional growth and development! As our Psychiatric RN on our ACT multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for conducting psychiatric nursing assessments, assessing physical health needs, making appropriate referrals to community physicians, providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist. There is very little office-based work in this role, so the perfect candidate will be comfortable performing traditional nursing duties (blood/lab draws, medication management/LAI application, psychoeducation) in the Wake County, North Carolina area with their clients. Schedule Monday - Friday, 830am-430pm. No evenings or weekends! Pay Range starts at $30.00+/hour, based on experience. + $1,000 sign on bonus! Full-time employees are eligible for medical benefits the first of the month 30 days after hire date. Options for a standard plan and an HSA plan with a $300 initial contribution and up to a $25 per paycheck match. 10 paid holidays and PTO hours which accrue at a rate of 10 hours per month. After 6 months employees are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan which has a 4% match. Company paid life insurance, short and long term disability, in house and paid training opportunities, and additional pay for working holidays. Job Responsibilities of an ACTT Team Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) Provide case management for an assigned group of members including coordinating and monitoring the activities of the Individual Treatment Team (ITT) Develop, implement, evaluate and revise overall treatment goals and plans in collaboration with the member and ITT Provide individual supportive therapy and symptom management Ensure immediate changes are made in the treatment plans as members change Educate and support member families and advocate for member rights and preferences Participate in and conduct parts of the client-centered comprehensive assessment of psychiatric history (i.e. onset, cause and effect of illness, past treatment and responses and risk behaviors, mental status, and other Social Determinants of Health) Qualifications of an ACTT Team Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) Ability to easily connect with people with profound communication skills A constructive approach towards members Ability to maintain confidentiality of the information collected from the members and their families Good analyzer and good observations skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to tackle complicated issues with ease and should be comfortable dealing with patients of all age groups Considerable knowledge of the dynamics and problems of addiction, and current practices of treatment. Strong commitment to the right and ability of each person with a severe and persistent mental illness to live in normal community residences Education and Experience Associates degree in Nursing BSN desirable 2-4 years of experience working with co-occurring and mental health population Experience with developmental and intellectual disability Certifications North Carolina Driver License - NC Division of Motor Vehicles RN - NC Board of Nursing About SouthLight Healthcare Tap into your passion at SouthLight Healthcare.
