Environmental Technician

Care STL Health seeks a full-time Environmental Technician to maintain a clean, sanitary and comfortable environment for health care services. Duties: Clean and sanitize all restrooms daily (i.e. toilets, sinks and restroom floors), refill supplies as needed (hand soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue). Damp mop the entire health center on a daily basis and clean baseboards. Vacuum areas of the health center that require it on a daily basis. Pick up trash on the outside of the building and parking lots on a daily basis. Wash windows according to cleaning schedule. Wash walls according to cleaning schedule. Wipe down patient care areas on a daily basis. Perform light maintenance. Follow all OSHA guidelines and rules regarding the handling of bio-hazardous waste. Respond to staff calls in a timely fashion A Successful Candidate: Must be able to maintain a clean health care facility. Experience in the areas of: carpet cleaning, floor care, restroom sanitizing, bio-hazard handling and window washing is preferred. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED required Must have reliable transportation Additional Information: Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 11 paid holidays per year.
