Bethel College has an opening for a full-time Cashier/Student Accounts Assistant.This individual is the support staff for the Controller, Student Accounts Manager, Staff Accountant and Business Office. The primary responsibility is to receive, reconcile, and prepare deposits of cash, checks and credit cards received by the college.Responsibilites will include, but not limited to: Process both student and non-student payments accurately Count money received from departments; reconciles to daily cash receipt; combines all cash receipts and prepares bank deposit on a daily basis Assists with random cash audits to ensure compliance with cash management procedures Answer phones and take care of walk-ins; direct to appropriate personnel/resource; answer student/parent questions about bills/balances, award letters, etc Sort and distribute incoming mail Maintain office equipment, order office supplies, assist with form design Assist Controller with recurring (non-student) accounting entries and other accounting projects as assigned A commitment to support the college mission and Covenant of Lifestyle is also required Job Posted by ApplicantPro
