Retlif Testing Laboratories is looking to hire a full-time exempt employee for the position of Technical Sales Representative to join our Ronkonkoma, New York laboratory for inside and outside sales primarily throughout Long Island, Metro New York City and in support of our NH and PA facilities. We are an equal opportunity employer that values each member of our team . A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE As a Sales Representative, you are a critical member of our team. You provide administrative support and customer coordination and activities to Technical Sales. You support and maintain positive business and customer relationships through quotation and sales follow-ups, appointment scheduling and trade show support. You also utilize and monitor our company quote tracking system. You get great satisfaction out of helping our company with sales and supporting the needs of our customers! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SALES REPRESENTATIVE Minimum two (2) years of post-high school education (Associate's degree preferred: Communications, Marketing or related focus) Minimum of 2 years sales and customer service experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Available to travel primary throughout Long Island and Metro NYC as well as periodic trips in support of our NH and PA facilities (approximately 50% travel) Candidates must have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret Clearance, which includes U.S. Citizenship Are you organized and attentive to detail? Do you have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal? Can you effectively prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet strict deadlines? WORK SCHEDULE This full-time Technical Sales Representative job is Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM .
