Asgard Resources is a rapidly growing sand processing company located in rural North Dakota looking for the right person to add to our team. Asgard is a leading provider of frac sand in North Dakota and has been operating since 2019.Asgard is seeking a Wash Plant Supervisor to maintain and operate a sand washing plant as well as train employees on specific wash plant duties. This job will also include operating heavy equipment at times. Successful applicants will be trained on the specific equipment utilized at the facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Identify needs and equipment status in pre-shift inspections and verifying inspections are being completed. Training wash plant operators Assist with sourcing parts and tracking parts inventory on hand for critical items Collaborate with wash plant operator and shift supervisors on the type of work needed and the best methods for work to be performed; evaluate and review necessary procedures, materials, labor and resource material needed, as well as maintaining equipment per MSHA standards. Work with Maintenance for general maintenance and repairs on wash plant equipment Assist in other areas of the plant when needed Work with supervisors and manager on production planning and schedules Uses various equipment, hand and power tools. Maintains all tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition. Other duties as assigned per supervisor Participate in safety meetings and trainings The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands to signal and handle equipment. The employee is required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must be able to lift and/or move anywhere up to 50-75 lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Qualifications Previous MSHA training is preferred but not required. Six (6) months prior experience in sand operations or relatable operations is required; one (1) year prior experience with sand plant production related is preferred Exceptional communication, both written and oral, and interpersonal abilities; organization and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to use mobile equipment like skid steers, manlifts, and loaders Ability to work both tactically and strategically Ability to read, write and speak English Ability to perform simple math calculation Ability to lift 50 lbs, shovel, and climb ladders/stairs Ability to workdays or nights, 8-12 hr. shifts and OT may be required Ability to work independently or with a partner Ability to work outside in various degrees of weather Driver's License is preferred Job Posted by ApplicantPro
