As you assist the team in providing exceptional customer service, you increase the confidence that our clients feel in our company. You review income tax returns and tax compliance work. You consult with the engagement partner to develop solutions for clients and manage the implementation of those solutions. A true leader, you work to develop trained staff by assisting in recruiting, providing performance evaluations, and developing training aids. You communicate directly with all clients assigned to you as well as network with potential clients. Actively supporting your partners, you assist in developing new initiatives to increase retention, meet resourcing needs, and develop staff. You also perform billing and collections every month as needed. Helping clients brings you great satisfaction, and it's why you are perfect in this role! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A TAX MANAGER Bachelor's degree in accounting or another related program 5+ years of experience in public accounting 2+ years of experience in tax management Certified public accountant (CPA) license Consulting and business development skills A master's degree in accounting or a related program is preferred. Quickbooks experience would be a plus. Do you have exceptional verbal and written communication skills? Can you work with confidence in a fast-paced setting?
