BASIC FUNCTION (the primary purpose of this position):Provide excellent guest service in the Warehouse 101, Whitecaps, Banquets and Gaming Floor. Enter guest orders into Micros and deliver it tableside as required. Assist Bartender as required. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Promote a clean, safe, healthy and friendly work environment for employees and guests; report and direct safety issues to Safety Committee.• Assist in opening and closing side work as required.• Greet guests in a professional manner • Answer questions on food and beverage menus, transport food & beverages to guests using tray service at all times.• Maintain alcohol awareness at all times and communicate this with the bartender.• Other duties as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS (objective educational or technical training required; skills; and years of experience):• Prior food and/or beverage service experience required.• Must have ability to obtain valid OLCC and food handler permit • Previous experience in hospitality field with demonstrated excellent guest service abilities.• Must be able to handle stress and all levels of cliental under pressure.• Must meet health and sanitation standards at all times.• Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free work place policies This description of duties, responsibilities and requirements is a summary, and is not intended to include all that may be assigned or required.
