Phoenix Rising Recovery, a family of Substance Use treatment centers located in Palm Desert, is currently looking for a Driver! Summary: The Driver provides transportation services for participants of all Renewal Health Groups Treatment programs located in the Palm Desert area. The Driver must act as a role model for the clients, while demonstrating integrity, professionalism, proper boundaries, and ethics. Availability: Part Time/per-diem Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Adheres to facilities confidentiality policies & procedures. Maintain professional relationships with the staff, residents, families, and visitors. Transport Clients to outside appointments, meetings, outings, and experiential therapy. Transport clients to and from airport, residence, etc., for admission and discharge. Maintain a mileage/transportation log. Ensures all passengers in vehicle are wearing seatbelts and adhering to all facility policies. Maintain knowledge of job functions within the organization. Maintain a consistent and open channel of communication with the Program Director and staff on duty. Report any malfunctions or needed maintenance of the facility vehicle. Responsible for ensuring facility vehicle is clean inside and out. Performs any other duties as needed. Qualifications Valid driver's license with no restrictions, clean driving record and personal automobile insurance. High school diploma or equivalent Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English. Able to maintain a professional manner with clients, staff, clients and visitors. Able to work in a fast-paced setting, under pressure and maintain open, and proper communication. Benefits Phoenix Rising Recovery offers competitive salaries for all positions. Regular employees working at least 30 hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance.
