Centre Avenue Health and Rehab is located at 815 Centre Avenue Fort Collins, Colorado and offers furnished private rooms designed to provide comfort for individuals requiring short-term rehabilitation following hospitalization or for long-term care, or end of life care/hospice care. We are accepting applications for a Maintenance Assistant able to work: Full Time Monday thru Friday, and as needed Schedule to be discussed at interview Compensation Starting wage between $16.00/hour - $18.00/hour (depending on experience), along with 3 opportunities for raises your 1st year. Employees who work 24+ hrs. per week qualify for a full range of benefits including PTO, Health Insurance, Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance, 401K, Free Health Care clinic, as well as Discounts from our Pharmacy and other Columbine Services. Maintenance Assistant Responsible for maintaining, repairing physical structures of buildings, site property, equipment, and grounds. Completes in-unit maintenance requests. Completes maintenance and facility record keeping. Paints, keeping an accurate list of on-site inventory. Cleans grounds and removes litter, waters lawn and shrubs. Removes snow using a snow shovel, snow blower. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be at least 21 years old and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have current driver's license and continue to meet company driving standards. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and wiring, as well as paint and drywall repair is preferred. Knowledge of building maintenance and repair methods, materials, tools, and equipment repair is preferred. Experience working with older adults preferred.
