DAY-TO-DAY This full-time tax services position works during the day .As a Customer Service - Intake Specialist at our nonprofit, you are the first point of contact for our clients. When speaking with clients either in person or over video conferencing, you ensure a positive experience by maintaining confidentiality, providing all necessary forms, and assisting in completing the forms accurately. You confirm appointments, let clients know what documentation they will need, greet them warmly, verify identification, and ensure they meet our eligibility requirements.Using your supreme organizational skills, you keep track of online documents in Dropbox as well as assign tax returns to the appropriate tax preparer based on their certification level. You also help to ensure our in-person tax site complies with all IRS and host requirements, check that IRS posters and materials are visible, and manage all supplies. You feel great knowing that you are an integral part of our tax services team!
