Job Description We are looking for CNA's to carry out our mission to provide compassionate and excellence. The Certified nursing assistants help perform critical tasks that ensure patients are well-cared for and safe during their hospital stay. Checking vital signs, keeping patients clean, and other duties like this are extremely important for patient care and satisfaction. The CNA is a trained and dependable individual that assists in efficiently providing patient care to help maintain individual personal needs, comfort, and skilled care under the supervision of the nursing staff. Job Responsibilities The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) aids the professional nursing staff. Delivers direct care to patients as directed by the RN or LPN. Always maintains patient comfort and safety. Follows all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Represents the facility with integrity and treats every resident with dignity and respect. Follows nurse instructions to perform procedures. Complies with HIPAA Privacy Act by protecting confidential patient information. Follows all policies and procedures to maintain a safe hospital setting. Participates in all training and continuing education. Performs other related work as required or requested. Requirements High school diploma or the equivalent is required Illinois CNA certificate is required CPR card is required Stellar customer service skills are required Ability to analyze and solve problems is required Ability to work independently with little general supervision is required Ability to perform the essential functions and requirements of the job Physical Demands: Must be able to speak and understand the English language. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to move intermittently. Must be able to assist resident to and from bathroom if needed. Must be able to assist resident with meals if needed.
