Summary The PE Supplier Development Manager will develop new parts of the electric vehicle's PE System (Motor, Reducer, Inverter, ICCU) Assembly . As the Manager assisting the Senior PE Development Manager in developing new parts of the electric vehicle PE system, your role will be to support project management with suppliers, assist with supplier mold and equipment development, quality improvement, and manage parts quality issues. You will also be responsible for managing supplier capacity and ensuring the timely delivery of parts. The role is responsible for supplier manufacturing capability assessment, Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP), Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and ongoing continuous improvement of supplier performance, such as Quality, delivery, cost reduction, capacity planning, proactive risk management, etc. As a global auto parts vendor, we focus on autonomous driving, connectivity, and electrification to lead in the era of intelligent mobility. Based on three modular auto components (i.e., chassis, cockpit, and front-end), we work to make driving safer and more accessible and offer service parts that can best serve the purpose. To make this vision a reality, we have expanded our business areas to include smart mobility, UAM, and robotics based on our R&D capability and production capacity.About MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLCMOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE systems, which are vital parts to produce electric vehicles, based on state-of-art manufacturing technology to battery system assembly. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Project Management •Responsible for part development and implementations.•Conducts detailed project plans, tactical execution, and schedules in each part project.•Provides Management overview and reporting on critical project tasks.•Maintains strong relationships with suppliers and internal and external customers.•Communicates regularly with upper management, including HQ, regarding the status of current projects and obtains upper management guidance and approval as required. Supplier Management • Led suppliers to meet the quality requirement during the project and program.•Respond to supply shortages for supplier-related issues.•Conducts Value engineering for any possible cost savings. •Suggests ECR for cost reduction, quality improvement, and lean production.•Responsible for supplier's ISIR review and approval and supplier quality audit.•Collects and summarizes documents from suppliers and supports HQ, Sales, and Customer requests.•Other tasks as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities : Yes Basic Qualifications : (The requirements below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.) Required Education & Experience: •Experience: 7+ years•Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)•Degree Field: Engineering Degree/Science or Business/Economics• 5+ years of experience in equivalent work experience in the automotive industry Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: •Ability to speak and write fluently in both Korean and English •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint• Skills & Abilities: Requires understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and proficiency in drawing interpretation.•Strong analytical and technical skillsPreferred Education & Experience:•Experience in the automotive manufacturing environment•Experience in Die-casting, Lamination press, Forging, and PCB assembly process.•Ability to understand 2D/3D drawings and knowledge of design tools•Experience in using ERP systems, Quality management systems.
