Road & Rail Services Track Supervisor Basic purpose of position: Provide management oversight to 8 to 12 associates performing varied functions with specific emphasis on safety. Responsibilities: Management of internal operating procedures Ensuring compliance with customer and company safety policies and procedures Identifying and correcting unsafe working conditions / practices Supervisors have a principal responsibility of preventing accidents and injuries Monitoring and motivating employees to ensure they work safely, follow proper work procedures and work together efficiently to achieve required production goals Interacting with the customer on a daily basis, and ensuring customer satisfaction Various reports on production, quality, timeliness, staffing, maintenance, and discrepancies Be an effective trainer by ensuring all employees are properly trained and understand the work instructions appropriate for their job Adapt to a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize, and apply troubleshooting skills Supervise and train personnel, directing them to accomplish specific tasks on a daily basis Other tasks delegated by the customer and/or Operations Manager Experience Requirements : A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience. Skills, Licenses, Certification, and/or Special Training: Must maintain a valid state driver's license if required to operate company equipment. Meet and maintain all requirements contained in the Conditions of Employment policy. Work and Environmental Conditions: Must be able to constantly work in an outdoor environment, exposed to all weather elements, including extreme hot and cold temperatures, dust and noisy conditions; Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to frequently climb, using various types of ladders, to heights in excess of 16 feet; Must be able to properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.
