New Glarus Home is hiring for an RCAC Administrator - Facility Manager. The successful candidate, will have experience managing employees, will be compassionate and well versed in the operational aspects of running an RCAC with 25+ Tenants. Candidates with strong business and financial acumen encouraged to apply!!! Primary responsibility is to direct the day to day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the Assisted living care facilities in DHS Chapter 89. It is the responsibility of the RCAC Administrator to assure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. Responsible for overall care for tenants, assists with development and revision of policies and procedures, maintains compliance with DHS.89 code regarding care, and supervises and ensures proper training to Universal Care Workers. REQUIREMENTS: An associate degree or higher from and accredited college in a health care, or closely related field and one-year experience in working in a health care related field. Experience in managing people and preferred case management experience. The Administrator of an RCAC shall be at least 21 years of age and exhibit the capacity and professionalism to respond to the needs of the Tenants and manage the complexity of the facility. Demonstrated competence in business (budget management experience). Knowledge of the surrounding area and available resources. Skilled at establishing relationships, with clients, client's family's, contracted partners, and staff. Knowledge of healthcare, dementia care and/or aging issues.
