Work Location: Bradenton, FL Receive, code, enter invoices, and follow payments through entire accounts payable life cycle Analyzes vendor accounts and negotiates extended terms with vendors when cash is restricted Answers all vendor, peer, management and internal/external customer inquiries Reviews more complex documents and vouches and when appropriate, reviews the agreement with the terms of the purchase order and returns documents submitted for payment that are determined to be out of compliance Supports monthly closing of AP system insuring that all entries properly balance for posting to the GL system and corrections are made if errors are found Set up and maintain vendor AP file folders; as needed What you need to bring to this role: Associates' degree in Accounting with 2+ years' accounts payable experience OR HS/GED with 5+ years' accounts payable experience required Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required Experience with Great Plains accounting software a plus Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus **MCR Health is a drug free workplace.
