Village Handcrafted Cabinetry is a family owned and operated custom cabinetry company that has been in business for 3 decades. Our award-winning work, unsurpassed customer service and premium install department distinguishes us from other builders and cabinet makers. We are currently looking to add a qualified Kitchen & Bath Designer with a passion for quality interior design to our team. Essential Duties and Requirements: Lead the custom cabinetry design process, including functional design, customer selections and jobsite measurements Working with our sales team, home builders, architects, designers and retail customers Manage the production of design approval drawings Work hand-in-hand with in-house installation manager Manage our business relationship with repeat builders, designers and clients Ability to maintain focus while working individually Strong time management skills to stay on track Skills and Experience: 3 years experience in the design of custom or modular cabinetry preferred, however we will train the right candidate 3 years experience in cabinetry project management preferred, however we will train the right candidate Experience utilizing cabinetry design software (20/20, Chief Architect, Cabinet Vision, Sketchup, etc.) a plus Strong planning, organizational and follow-up skills Creative, problem solver, strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional presentation and attitude Qualifications: Prefer candidates with a bachelor's degree related to field Physical Requirements: Employees may work in loud work areas Employee is expected to be able to problem solve, make well thought out decisions and be organized Our Benefits: As a full time employee, you will be able to participate in our great benefits package that includes Paid Time Off, a Retirement Plan with Company Match, self-funded medical insurance and other great benefits.
