Our Compliance Analysts are self-driven , detail oriented, excellent communicators, organized, and up to date with regulatory requirements. You will be well versed in monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating compliance policies, controls and procedures. And, you will ensure the daily lending, deposits, and operational processes and activity are in compliance with all laws and regulations. What Will Be Your Key Accountabilities? Assist in the implementation and conduct periodic monitoring procedures to detect weaknesses in the Bank's compliance program and communicate the results to appropriate department managers. Monitor pending or proposed changes to rules, regulations or laws in order to ensure that the Bank is informed and prepared to implement changes as they occur. In consultation with the Compliance and Risk Manager draft consistent and cohesive Compliance and CRA policies and develop the necessary procedures and protocols to implement such polices. Research lending and deposit compliance issues / questions, provide interpretation or clarification to employees, using legal counsel when necessary, develop, and maintain a library of compliance resources that can be accessed by employees. Analyze loan and deposit documents and disclosures to determine if they meet regulatory requirements. Track and monitor findings noted on external examinations, audits, and compliance monitoring and testing activities. Coordinate and provide assistance in training personnel on the Bank's policies and procedures in compliance with laws and regulations. Examine marketing materials to ensure they comply with laws and regulations. Provide support and coordination to gather necessary information and reports to complete compliance audits and examinations, and Risk Assessments conducted by the Compliance and Risk Department. Maintain Customer Complaint Log to ensure that responses are timely, and accurately resolved. What Are We All Doing? Bring any suspicious activity to the attention of a supervisor, or the BSA Officer. Follow all Bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations. Understand and adhere to regulatory guidelines including but not limited to FCRA, BSA, GLBA, etc. as the regulations pertain to the employee's job function. What Do You Bring to the Team? A list of job experiences and qualification requirements are great, but what is most important to us is humility, vulnerability, transparency, a performance-driven attitude, and a team-player approach. Additionally, you will bring: High School diploma required, College degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the compliance department of a financial institution. Sound knowledge of the banking lending and deposit laws and regulations (e.g. Reg AA, B, C, DD, E, X, O, W, Z, Flood Disaster Protection Act, Fair Lending, FCRA/FACTA, UDAP, CRA). Certified Regulatory Compliance Designation preferred. Strong general banking experience to include client service issues and overall bank operations. Ability to work independently with limited direction from supervisor. Excellent written and communication skills, including ability to deal professionally with branch issues, problems, and questions. Capability of working well independently and as part of a team and exercising appropriate level of authority commensurate with experience and responsibility. Ability to work successfully in a deadline driven environment. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; good organizational, research and follow-up skills. Requires the ability to employ basic reasoning skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. What Do We Have For You?
