UHP is currently affiliated with 182 providers consisting of 119 physicians and 63 advanced practice providers operating out of 54 locations across Southern, Central, and Northern California. POSITION SUMMARY: The Provider Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle talent acquisition including sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing qualified physician and advanced practice provider (APP) candidates. The Provider Recruiter creates a positive experience for candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding processes. The successful recruiter understands how management behaviors and candidate experiences impact the hiring process and will communicate and/or escalate issues as needed. This position requires a person with a sales mindset who is a critical thinker with an eye for detail and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. What you will be doing: Act as a business partner and recruitment subject matter expert while applying best practices for full-cycle recruitment and strategic talent acquisition of physicians and advanced practice practitioners. Facilitate the end-to-end recruitment process, including recruitment/sourcing, interview, selection, contracting (when applicable), and onboarding of new hires. Efficiently use the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to post jobs, track candidates, schedule, and track interview progress, and communicate with hiring managers. Pre-qualify candidates by conducting first-level interviews specific to the department requirements or preparing job descriptions to determine commensurate experience and interest level. Demonstrate the ability to attract, influence, and convert hard-to-find talent through social media and other avenues available for candidate sourcing. Use innovative sourcing and marketing techniques to engage both active and passive candidates for hard to fill positions. Develop a network of sourcing opportunities and maintains ongoing relationships to develop a robust candidate pipeline. Build relationships with candidate source venues including but not limited to niche job boards, networking events, graduate medical education (GME) programs, medical schools, residency, and fellowship programs. Schedule interviews, arrange clinic tours, and create a concierge recruiting experience. Develop and implement initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization. Identify recruiting opportunities within the communities we serve and develop a strategy for outreach and participation. Track and report monthly key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity. Keep up to date on current employment legislation and regulations that affect recruitment and employment. Must be able to travel in the US. What you will bring to the Team: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Human Resources or healthcare related field (required) Minimum of 3 years of full cycle provider recruiting/sourcing experience (required) Recruitment experience in a hospital or medical group setting (required) Strong networking and relationship-building skills Ability to use technology.
