Job purpose To support and provide the critical interface between all aspects of customer service in the company; promote and implement the company's core values and excellence in customer service; responsible for maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers. Duties and responsibilities Establishes and maintains strong relationships with external customers by providing support, information, and guidance; taking care of customer needs. Maintain a broad knowledge of company products, services, and promotions. Assist the customer with questions, accurate data entry for invoicing, credits, and maintain accurate files. Take customer orders and process payments; process invoice/direct bill for complete orders. Actively contributing to the team atmosphere in order to perform clerical and administrative duties. Corresponding with various inter-office departments in order to assist in meeting customer's needs. Inquire research, track and verifies data, and provides customer feedback on the status of the customer orders. Responsible for customer communications, email/phone/fax in a timely manner. Responsible for a significant amount of data entry and computer navigation. Utilizes software programs for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics. timelines, tables, and graphs. Once generated, responsible for splitting orders manually to multiple warehouse locations. Direct or route customer calls to appropriate department contact for assistance. Maintain inventory transactions in the inventory database. Obtain materials from vendors, stock shelves, and complete necessary paperwork. Pack customer orders according to specifications. Support annual National Sales meeting with headquarter logistic responsibilities. Supports maintaining a safe working environment and focuses on safe work habits. Maintains a focus for self and team on continuous learning that will enhance skill sets and growth opportunities. Demonstrates a commitment to C&F Enterprises, Inc.'s core values. Skills Exceptional customer service capabilities and customer focus. Demonstrated high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to multitask and problem-solving skills Impeccable time-management, organizational, and attention to detail skills Knowledge in home fashions, gifts, textiles, or retail industries Ability to work both independently and in a group setting Ability to take initiative Demonstrated ability to maintain stable performance under pressure Qualifications A high school diploma and/or equivalent experience 1-2 years or more years in an Administrative, Customer Service or related field experience Must be familiar with customer resolution techniques Must have strong computer and data entry skills, order processing systems Physical requirements Sitting, Standing Walking Lifting: Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (includes upward pulling) Prolonged use of computer involved; use of hands and finger coordination; Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision. Color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Speech clarity requires the ability to speak clearly so others can understand you. Carrying, Pushing, Pulling boxes and sample orders up to 50 lbs. The successful candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. **No Recruiters/Agencies
