HOW THIS HUMAN SERVICES ROLE MAKES A DIFFERENCE As a Statewide Information and Resource Supervisor, you play a critical role in ensuring children and their families have access to the resources they need to live happier and healthier lives. You oversee the coordination and management of invaluable human and social services throughout Kansas, ensuring that all programs, materials, and employees comply with our nonprofit's policies. On a day-to-day basis, you directly supervise our information and referral workers, review employee schedules and timesheets, and manage program delivery. To keep our organization running smoothly, you oversee hiring, training, and terminating staff as well as complete performance reviews. You help secure funding by assisting with writing grants, generating reports, and meeting with management when appropriate. This is a highly collaborative role, and you attend various coalition meetings with community partner organizations to represent our nonprofit. You take pride in being an effective leader who makes a huge impact on every child in our program! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A STATEWIDE INFORMATION AND RESOURCE SUPERVISOR Bachelor's degree in human services, public or community health, or a related field 1+ years of experience with child welfare services or human services, including working with families, volunteers, and the community Experience with managing databases as well as with reporting and collecting data Strong communication skills and knack for public speaking Computer proficiency and ability to use Microsoft programs such as Excel All employees are required to be fully vaccinated. Religious and medical exemptions are available. While not required, experience with social services, crisis intervention, or hiring and supervising others would be beneficial! Knowledge about child abuse and neglect prevention would also be a plus. Are you a motivated self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision?
