Night Auditor - Full or Part Time

SUMMARY A night auditor at a hotel has two primary responsibilities. This hotel employee must act as a front desk agent on the night shift, answering phones, registering guests, accepting payments, and providing other customer service. Records are kept electronically, so night auditors must do most of the accounting work on a computer. This is a part-time position, 2-4 shifts per week. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Answering a multi line phone, Booking reservations, greeting and directing guests Good customer relations, problem solving, and attention to detail Must be friendly, have a professional demeanor, and a desire to help others Previous experience in customer service and knowledge of Excel and Word a plus Responsible for preparing the hotel's books for the day's financial These accounting duties are basic and often tantamount to data KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Needs to have good customer relations skills. A friendly and professional tone and actions are vital. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. some work experience in customer service or bookkeeping. Computer skills are an advantage in the hiring process since most modern night auditors and reservation clerks use computers. WORKING CONDITIONS Varies.
