Description:
This position is primarily responsible for operating spraying and spreading equipment in accordance with delivery tickets. Must be self-motivated, team player, that has the ability to work independently with a proven ability to be proactive in completing work and problem solve. Safety is a priority! All tasks must be completed in a safe manner following established safety procedures, at times with little supervision. This is an hourly position and compensation will be based upon experience. This position requires extended work hours during peak seasons, including weekends. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Assist in the service and maintenance of machinery Work with precision ag equipment and keep accurate data Work closely with management to communicate ideas on how to make improvements Working knowledge of agronomy facility operations including experience handling chemicals, fertilizers and other inputs Ability to adapt and be flexible to meet time constraints and customer demands Able to read and follow detailed directions and learn new skills as required Positive Customer-Service oriented interpersonal and communication skills required Understand and comply with ALL company, Federal, and State rules and regulations. This includes DOT, OSHA, Drug Testing, and Vehicle Maintenance Programs Other duties as assigned EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Must have Applicator license or ability to obtain shortly after hire. E xperience operating heavy equipment and mechanical experience in either the agriculture, farming, military, construction, or other relatable industries is preferred, but not required.
