The Sr. Technical Recruiter will be customer-oriented with a drive to achieve goals and maintain great customer relationships. The selected individual will suggest forward-thinking ideas to promote our brand and work closely with our customers to understand their needs. Will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, understand the Maryland Agency and its programs, and have experience recruiting in the IT and Cyber fields for the Maryland IC agency. Will proactively build a network of active and passive candidates, conduct initial phone screens, and interviews, work with candidates throughout the hiring process including presenting and closing offers, and document and track activity in the applicant tracking system (we use ApplicantPro), and template resumes to the required format per contract. Other duties include coordinating candidate interviews and maintaining contact with the talent pipeline. Work with key accounts to provide hiring solutions, identify new resources and ensure satisfaction on current and new opportunities. Work with existing employees to place in new positions at contract end or for promotions. Serve as the primary day-to-day liaison with assigned customers and maintain positive ongoing relationships Recruit new employees to achieve company hiring goals. Work with company leadership to support you in growing your skill set from staff placement on contracts and recruiting perspective. Provide full lifecycle recruiting in support of the federal government contracts including the sourcing, screening, onsite interviewing, and selection of candidates. Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of project needs Write job listings using detail from labor category descriptions and additional detail from prime and list jobs in the Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Required Skills/Abilities: Must be highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team onsite at our Annapolis Junction, MD headquarters. We are not seeking remote candidates for this opportunity . Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Thorough understanding of recruiting methods as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Knowledge of applicant tracking systems helpful. Ability to prioritize workload. This position requires onsite work at our corporate headquarters located in Annapolis Junction. Remote work is not an option. A security clearance is not required. Education /Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Eight years of proven success in recruiting and customer management Experience recruiting for contracts supporting the Maryland & other IC Agencies Technical Recruiting experience in Cyber, Software Developers, and System Engineers is highly desired or having personal experience in these areas.
