ADVOC8 is seeking a Director of Client Engagement to join our new division +Drop (pronounced "and drop"). +DROP is the division of ADVOC8 that designs, produces, and fulfills brand merchandise and gifting experiences. The division comprises our existing brand merchandise team, warehouse and fulfillment team, and customer support agents. +Drop's vision is to create memorable gifting experiences grounded in strategic insights and the best products to drive brand recognition and loyalty. As the Director of Client Engagement, you will play a pivotal leadership role in developing the strategy and execution of our outbound sales efforts and internal client management teams. You will have the unique opportunity to help craft the positioning of our offering, shape our business strategy, and experience immense growth potential. You have experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, overseeing high-performing client services teams, and delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to clients. We work with corporate brands, nonprofits, and associations to tell their stories by transforming existing mediums into divergent experiences that build lasting connections. We use the power of strategy-based experiential storytelling to partner with brands boldly seeking to change perceptions, actions, and beliefs. We prefer to push boundaries with our creative and innovate beyond traditional expectations while offering a fluid project management process supported by senior-level oversight and collaboration. Responsibilities : Identify and pursue new business opportunities within our target markets, leveraging your understanding of client needs and our product offerings to drive sales growth. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor. Lead the development of comprehensive growth plans for each account and target accounts to assure they have the allocate resources, establish processes, and implement systems for high performance and success. focusing on creating program-based accounts with recurring revenue Serve as a strategic partner to the Head of +Drop in developing the growth plan for the agency and its client engagements Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, design, and operations, to create tailored, high-impact solutions for clients. Propose experiences, stories and innovative solutions, not just products. You must weave strategy and insights into the sales process Develop and implement team-wide best practices and processes for client engagement, account management, and sales to optimize efficiency and client outcomes. Monitor and analyze client feedback, industry trends, and market data to inform continuous improvement initiatives and product development. Represent +Drop at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build our brand presence and foster client relationships. Oversee a small but growing team of account managers providing coaching, guidance, and performance management as needed to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction. Requirements 7+ years of experience in client services, account management, or sales within the branded merchandise, promotional products, or corporate gifting industry. Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships and driving new business with recurring revenue Proactivity and a "make it happen" attitude Desire to continually learn, grow and add to your toolbox Thrives in a growing and innovative environment with a vision but without robust processes. You must want to jump in and help build those processes. Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills to navigate internal and external dynamics and align all stakeholders Quick on your feet to pick up new concepts and respond to client needs. You know how to get to "yes" with your problem-solving skills and ability to empower a to want to optimize the outcomes for the client and agency Deep understanding of the brand merchandise production process, suppliers, materials, and trends. Experience leading, coaching and motivating a team, with a focus on building a division from the ground up Tech-savvy and an eye for good design. Ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically, with an aptitude for problem-solving and finding innovative solutions.
