Administrative Assistant - Full Time Join a supportive team who values personal & professional growth and serving the community! As our full-time Administrative Assistant, you will work closely with the Intake & Referral Manager, acting as a primary point of contact and an information source for new and existing Southlight clients. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks including greeting and scheduling clients and visitors, contacting clients for appointment reminders, collecting copays and service fees, answering and routing calls, and keeping paperwork organized. Our Administrative Assistant must be willing to travel between our two Raleigh locations throughout the week, as needed, but will not need to travel back and forth between locations in the same day! Schedule Hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 8am - 4pm - no weekends! Pay Starting pay for this role is $16.00 to 18.00 per hour, based on experience! You would receive 10 paid holidays as well as PTO hours which would accrue at a rate of 10 hours per month. After 6 months you would be eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan which has a 4% match. We also provide company paid life insurance, short- and long-term disability, in house and paid training opportunities, and paid credentialing. SouthLight is also eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF). Job Responsibilities of an Administrative Assistant Provide check-in services for all scheduled client appointments Responsible for in-person and phone support, providing information regarding treatment services and general inquires and connecting to the appropriate sources Utilize electronic medical record to assist clients and staff with scheduled appointments Make daily appointment reminders to clients via phone and/or email In coordination with Intake & Referral Manager, prepare and process new client intake paperwork and assist with scheduled intakes Prepare telehealth room and equipment prior to scheduled appointments Perform skilled keyboarding and accurate data entry in a fully integrated electronic medical record system Collect and reconcile cash/credit card co-pays and service fees from clients upon registration Qualifications of an Administrative Assistant Education and Experience HS diploma or GED 2 years of experience in front office, customer service or related field Behavioral health experience a plus Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Professional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community Highly organized and detail-oriented Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, positive attitude and ability to be flexible and embrace change in a fast-paced environment Commitment to strong customer service focus rooted in empathy Excellent time management and prioritization skills to handle and manage high volume of calls Ability to use an electronic medical record system & Microsoft based systems About SouthLight Healthcare Tap into your passion at SouthLight Healthcare.
