NURSE ASSISTANT CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR Location: 2301 W. Ashton Blvd Lehi, UT 84043 (multiple locations) Status: Part-Time / Non-Exempt Hours: Monday - Saturday as needed Pay / Salary: $25.00 / Hour BENEFITS Part-time employees averaging 15 hours / week over 3+ months of employment could be eligible for our MTECH tuition waiver. RESPONSIBILITIES Your responsibilities would include, but not be limited to: Acting under the general supervision of the Senior Program Coordinator and Clinical Coordinator Supervising, evaluating, and documenting small groups of students in clinical settings (long term care, transitional care, and assisted living). Observing and supervising students at all times during the scheduled clinical. May substitute for the classroom instructor as needed for a short period of time after approval from UNAR. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS The Clinical Instructor must be a licensed nurse with a current, active Utah License to Practice; who is in good standing with the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing. Must have at least two years of nursing experience; at least one year must be as a licensed nurse in long-term care facility services or caring for the elderly or the chronically ill of any age. Must have completed a UNAR-approved "Train the Trainer" program and demonstrate competence or experience supervising nursing assistants. A minimum of five clinical shifts are required for each instructor per semester. We appreciate our current staff and are equally excited about our new hires.
