The Teller/New Account position assists customers with financial transactions in a timely and effective positive manner. The position is responsible for performing routine branch and customer services duties. As a Bank Teller, you will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining accurate records.We are seeking an individual with exceptional customer service and attention to detail skills. A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred. Basic computer knowledge, interpersonal skills, and ten key calculators, and computer keyboard-by-touch experience are preferred. WHAT WILL I DO? Receive and process financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, money orders, and loan payments. Timely and effectively handles these requests while providing a positive experience. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when processing transactions and completing account documentation. Responsible for opening new deposit accounts, including checking, savings, and certificates of deposit, and IRAs. Assist customers with their account transaction needs. This includes deposits, withdrawals, savings, checking, etc. Maintain compliance and ensures consistency by balancing cash drawer and daily transactions and accurately posting transactions to customer accounts. Establish and follows the policies and procedures of the Bank. Administrative duties and more!
