EnviroControl Systems has an immediate opening for a Residential Service Apprentice - Level 4 . Our fast-growing company offers: Apprentice opportunities! Tuition reimbursement! Work Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. regular hours per project demand with 30-minute lunch; Regular on-call emergency service rotation Pay rate: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: 65% of health insurance paid, 100% company-paid life insurance,401k match, dental, vision, PTO, paid holiday, Uniform allowance, PPE provided, and boot account Primary Job Function: To function independently on a variety of residential/light commercial projects- troubleshooting and repair of HVAC equipment up to and including 20-ton units. All work performed to workmanship standards and company policy and adhering to all Safety standards and local codes. A Residential Apprentice Level #3 is expected to demonstrate the ability to work effectively with team members, demonstrate the mechanical ability required for success in the HVAC trade, demonstrate a positive attitude, and develop a strong work ethic. A successful Level 2 Residential Apprentice will demonstrate commitment to investing in themselves through EnviroControl Systems/Lifestyle Comfort Solutions' apprenticeship program through Sinclair Community College, through in-house training, in-field training, and professional development classes. A Level #4 apprentice independently performs Level 1-2-3 skills to consistent workmanship standards. Required Qualifications: High School diploma, GED, and admitted to Sinclair Community College HVAC apprenticeship program Valid driver's license, insurable by EnviroControl Systems' insurance carrier Maintains reliable transportation to and from job assignments Purchases and maintains required Level 2 tools Qualified for work in the United States with necessary 1-9 documentation Maintains required DFW mandatory drug screen and background check Demonstrates aptitude for a position on Job Profile Assessment, where applicable Able to read and use a tape measure correctly. Able to communicate with team members in speaking and writing Holds EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling certificate Demonstrates consistent understanding of basic air balancing Consistently performs all Apprentice Level #1,2 & 3 duties to workmanship quality service, service technician, service tech lead, journeyman service technician, tech, technician, journeyman tech, journeyman technician, service tech, top technician, top tech, top service technician, top service tech, hvac service technician, hvac technician, hvac tech
