**Per Governor Inslee's COVID-19 Proclomation for Health Care Facilities, all employees must be fully vaccinated or have been granted a "Disability or Religious Exemption" prior to first day of work** This Position comes with a $5000 Sign-On Bonus **Conditions do apply** Summary Supervise the work of Radiology/Ultrasound personnel engaged in routine and specialized technical procedures, including planning work, evaluating work performed and handling procedural and technical problems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Oversee both Radiology and Ultrasound departments. Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure reliability procedures, proper compliance with federal regulations; prepare and maintain applicable records. Prepare reports reflecting volume of work, procedures utilized and results; coordinate the preparation of reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions. Participate in the development of new procedures and techniques; plan, develop and present workshops. Coordinate new employee rotations to ensure instruction in radiology methods and procedures. Design appropriate daily work schedules that maintain adequate personnel are available to perform radiology services during regular service hours and within 20 minutes of being contacted during on-call shifts. Will require direct coverage of shifts due to lack of available subordinates or unanticipated absence. Supervise various personnel functions including, but not limited to interviewing, hiring performance appraisals, transfers, and vacation schedules. Monitor Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Safety and Inspection Control practices to assure compliance with internal and external regulations. Maintain sufficient inventory of material supplies and equipment for performance of duties; clean and maintain standard equipment with budgetary guidelines. Utilize various hospital information systems and software. Communicate in a professional and courteous manner with patients, family and other medical personnel as necessary to obtain information for records, explain procedures, clarify orders and communicate status. Interact courteously with doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers when answering questions or providing other information. Responsibility for the oversight of the ancillary imaging program including quality control, quality assurance, and development of policies and procedures. Interpret accrediting agencies standards or guidelines for ancillary imaging program and translates requirement into policies and procedures; initiates corrective action as soon as deficiency is identified; completes checklist and other information sheets required and coordinates on-site inspection of sections for which responsible. Demonstrate decision-making abilities in all aspects of performance. Works to participate in all Hospital events and activities regardless of when or where they occur. Acts as a leader for the organization in all interactions and situations. Is expected to lead by example. As a manager, works to support all departments by devoting all extra and sometimes additional time to any necessary projects/tasks. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
