General Purpose: The Senior Vice President of National Accounts is responsible for finding, winning, and subsequently expanding National Account customers. This leader develops and drives the customer relationship strategy as well as works with internal teams on the overall value proposition, pricing, and superior service delivery. Provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job. Essential Functions: Drive overall National Account sales strategy to deliver big and bold growth. Maintain a robust pipeline to ensure appropriate number and size of targets. Lead, develop, and coach highly productive National Account sellers to achieve sales quota. Consistently close sizable new business opportunities (hunt). Deliver sales growth with existing National Accounts (farm). Partner with field leadership and other key stakeholders to achieve account performance objectives and customer's expectations. Meet with major National Account customers regularly, maintain and grow relationships with key decision makers, and position Elwood Staffing as a valued business partner. Support and/or attend National Account customers' quarterly business reviews. Oversee RFP process for National Accounts, ensuring a compelling proposal is created. Desired Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent. Minimum of five years of aggressive business to business sales experience at a Director or VP level. Prefer experience in staffing industry sales. Experience in results-oriented sales management - planning, communication, organization, and people motivation Demonstrated history of leading both sales and operational teams to achieve organizational goals. Strong understanding of advanced sales techniques, including strategic selling, team selling, consultative selling and negotiation tactics. Demonstrated success in sales planning and execution with track record of exceeding sales quota. Demonstrated ability to profitably manage and grow large complex customers. Proven experience with developing and maintaining effective client relationships that are wide and deep. Excellent financial management skills and demonstrated expertise in pricing services for profitability. Strong leadership and people management skills with an ability to coach and mentor all levels of teammates. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence senior level management and close sales. Exceptional critical thinking and creative problem‐solving skills with proven ability to collaborate with others to identify alternatives and drive to resolution. Ability to exhibit a high‐energy level with a keen sense of urgency. Flexible and responsive to change. Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Highly self-motivated with a burning competitive spirit.
