A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN As a member of the maintenance department you are committed to safely and effectively maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing cutting edge spring manufacturing equipment, machinery, building and grounds. Day to day is ever changing and our skillset is broad. At times you will assist production in solving problems within the mechanical process. Must be willing to use your skills already learned, in addition to accepting training in our unique environment. Varying degrees of electrical knowledge in everything from low voltage signal wiring, PLC programming and/or troubleshooting, 240V 3 phase is a BIG plus. To be successful you will have working knowledge of mechanical operation such as gears and pullies, conveyor systems, motors and sprockets, pneumatics, general shop tool and hand tool experience, be enthusiastic to learn and be able to retain information. Communication is a very important part in this role, as is attendance. Must be able to keep a workstation neat and organized and can work well with others effectively as well as alone . QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED Mechanical Aptitude Basic math skills Ability to interpret data 2+ years in Industrial maintenance setting is PREFERRED though we will train the right individual 2+ years in Industrial production/machine operation is beneficial Do you have a solid employment history and amazing work ethic?
