We are hiring a full-time Cook to be a part of our awesome team here in the Holgate Community! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Cook and serve two meals during the shift Create therapeutic meals for residents with specific needs Prep for meals up to two days in advance Update diet card system daily Meet with new residents to identify and plan for food preferences/sensitivities Keep the workstation clean, sanitary, and uncluttered throughout the shift Other duties as assigned SCHEDULE Tuesday - Saturday 5:00 am - 1:30 pm Holidays QUALIFICATIONS Follow oral and written instructions Adhere to all state, OSHA, and safety regulations Be a team player; able to supervise others Self-managed; self-starter; good time management Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Be a concise communicator with great command of the English language with the ease of reading, writing, comprehending, and speaking Must be able to properly lift a maximum of 50 pounds unassisted without difficulty Withstand exposure to temperature and humidity changes as in entering refrigerated storage areas, working at ovens, ranges, dish-washing machines, and steam tables. one year of experience preferred PAY $19.00 - $21.00 BENEFITS 403(b) with Employer Match Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Disability Insurance Employee Assistance Program Flexible Schedule Flexible Spending Account Free Parking Life Insurance Generous Paid Vacation and Sick Time Package Referral Bonus Program Reduced Fare Bus Pass Job Posted by ApplicantPro
