POSITION TITLE: APRN FLSA: EXEMPT REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: BSN required. Master of Science Nurse Practitioner program. Florida ARNP license. Certified by Professional or National Nursing. Ability to use EMR. Ability to interpret signs and symptoms elicited through history and physical. Ability to determine health problems after lab and x-ray information is available. Judgment and knowledge to obtain consultation when appropriate. Works under physician-supervised protocols, which are registered with the state. BLS required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Provide primary care. Histories and physicals. Management of chronic and short-term illness according to medical protocols. Provide health maintenance and preventive teaching. Family counseling and psychological support. Family planning.
