About the Position The Sr. DevOps Manager focuses on software solutions for St. David's Foundation (SDF). This includes directing the design, development, testing and production implementation of custom software solutions as well as the ongoing enhancement of third-party systems. The Sr. DevOps Manager maintains knowledge of all facets of the Information Technology Department to fulfill this responsibility when needed. Effective August 26, 2021, all current and future St. David's Foundation employees must be fully vaccinated from COVID-19, unless a reasonable accommodation is approved by the Foundation. Responsibilities Analyze complex business needs presented by SDF users and recommend technical solutions. Perform business process analysis for technology implementations and improvements. Direct the efforts of external development and support partners for SDF custom applications. Direct internal technology implementation or software enhancement projects. Review designs, code, and unit test plans for externally developed custom SDF applications. Participate in hardware and software evaluations and maintain vendor contracts as needed. Ensure that technical and quality standards are enforced throughout the software development lifecycle. Release management and deployment oversight and enforcement as it pertains to production environments. Assures that software applications utilized by SDF meets all relevant HIPAA and other statutory and regulatory requirements. Act as a liaison between users, IT, and programming personnel in the areas of systems design, modifications or trouble shooting. Evaluate short-term and long-term technology needs. Research and recommend strategies for technology implementation. Evaluate, implement, install, and maintain organization systems hardware and software as needed. Prepare and publish periodic reports on the status of initiatives, metrics, and operational performance indicators. Collaborates with Director of IT to provide strategic direction for information technology improvements. Assist the Director of IT with preparing and managing the internal technology budget, annual systems plan, and inventory for computer-related hardware and software. Abide by all HIPAA related security standards in regard to ePHI. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Superior organizational, project management, time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to successfully handle multiple priorities simultaneously Demonstrated experience in working with sensitive information and ability to maintain confidentiality. Superior analytical and data management skills, with demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and high-quality work.
