Description:
River Edge is looking for experienced licensed mental health clinicians or recent Master's degree graduates in the field of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Behavioral Health related fields for our Adult Outpatient Center. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in behavioral health field AND a Georgia license as LCSW, LPC, LMFT are preferred. Candidates with LMSW, LAPC, LAMFT also accepted. Recent graduates with a Master's in a behavioral health field are encouraged to apply if license eligible. Summary of job duties: Performs psychosocial assessments, treatment planning/monitoring and discharge planning. Provides counseling/therapy to clients requiring complex intervention. Performs commitment determinations and/or execute orders of involuntary commitments. Acts as client advocate in order to coordinate required services or to resolve crisis. Refers client or family to community resources to assist in recovery from mental or physical illness and to provide access to services such as financial assistance, legal aid, housing, job placement or education. All selected applicants must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test.
