Participate in care plan conferences and other clinical meetings to consult with physicians and other health care personnel to determine diet restrictions and nutritional needs of residents. You'll also be responsible for assessing nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans in order to develop and implement dietary care plans and provides nutritional counseling as needed. As required, you keep accurate records for each resident you work with and report any changes in a resident's condition to the nursing department immediately. What you need as a Registered Dietitian Previous experience in a long term care facility required Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist in the state About our parent company Guardian Healthcare Guardian Healthcare is both our name and our philosophy.
