Oregon SurgiCenter has a Full-Time, CMA opportunity available. Oregon Urology Institute and Oregon SurgiCenter is one of the largest, most advanced urological centers in the Northwest. Oregon Urology Institute provides patients with some of the region's finest medical experts covering every major urological specialty using proven and leading-edge technologies. The CMA prepares patients for examination and treatment to provide therapeutic, effective patient/family-centered care to Surgery Center patients. Duties: Prepares patients for examination and treatment. Takes patient histories and vital signs. Prepares exam rooms and instruments for examination and procedures including biopsies and cystoscopies. Assists physicians with procedures. Education: Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants. Graduation from an accredited MOA program required. Current healthcare level BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications Position Requirements: Able to assist in a variety of treatments. Skilled in taking vital signs. Must be flexible and a quick learner. Must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. All candidates must pass a drug screen, reference, and background check to be considered for employment. All new employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and able to provide proof on their first day of work. This is a Full-time position (32 to 40 hours/week) . No nights, weekends, or on-call . The CMA wage range: $18.83 to $28.30per hour, DOE.
