About George Junior Republic: Established in 1909, George Junior Republic is dedicated to helping at-risk youth become successful, well-adjusted adults, capable of achieving a higher degree of citizenship, and a better understanding of their responsibility to society, their family and his/her self . Position Overview: The Mobile Medication RN will work throughout Washington County and is responsible for the overall operation of the Mobile Medication Team. The RN will complete initial nursing assessments and on-going assessment required in the implementation of consumer care, develop comprehensive treatment plans, address physical health care needs of consumers, provide appropriate referrals, and develop, supervise, and review consumer progress. The RN will also need to consult with the treatment team to develop transition plans, ensure appropriate medication administration and compliance with agency nursing policies, as well as provide training to clients. This candidate should expect to be available to consumers, outside agencies, and co-workers via cell phone, and return calls in a timely manner. Documenting all consumer and collaborative contacts in a timely manner, collaborating with the Program Manager to ensure all insurance is verified prior to starting services, ensuring clinical documentation shows consumers meet medical necessity criteria, maintaining consumer files, program records, consumer data, as well as ensuring referrals are processed promptly will also be expectations for the Mobile Medication RN. The RN role is not limited to the mentioned responsibilities, and additional duties may be assigned. Requirements: - Bachelors of Science in nursing preferred but not required - Current unrestricted Pennsylvania Registered Nursing License - Minimum of two years nursing experience - One year psychiatric nursing experience serving seriously mental ill adults is strongly preferred - Willing to work in the community - Able to work a non traditional schedule based on consumer and referring agency needs - Valid Driver's License - Able to lift 10 pounds, bend, and stretch Benefits: - Paid Time Off - Comprehensive health benefits - Mileage reimbursement - 401K, 403B - Life insurance provided by employer - Tuition reimbursement program - Referral bonus program * George Junior Republic and Affiliates is an equal opportunity employer.
