Character of Position As a Project Buyer , you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and planning for purchasing items for projects. Responsibilities Timely delivery of purchasing milestones Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and planning for purchasing items for projects Feed input for projects and the impacts to Project Team Support Program Management with project costs / pricing objectives in close cooperation with Processing Support timely execution of supplier material certifications in relation to bill of material to complete QA package for tooling sign-off Provide other departments with requested data as and when needed Responsible to prevent and manage supplier delivery disruptions Issue and manage purchase orders for projects Maybe called to perform other purchasing related activities from time to time Ability to have systematic approach to dealing with issues that challenge the desired procedures or performance of the department, while being mindful of the department's objectives and KPI's Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance Other duties as assigned Skills Negotiating Time Management Organization Multitasking Experience Minimum of 4 years in related field Purchasing Education High School Diploma or equivalent Benefits Referral Program Job Development Training Program Great Holiday Schedule 401k Health, Dental, Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account Life and Disability Insurance Paid Time Off ADP Discounts Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
